I made this drink the other night, good drink. It deserves to be recorded and shared. It's a varient of the Caipirinha, which is the national drink of Brazil (not Cuba, which is what I told people). I made it sweet and refreshing; Good for a summer night, perhaps.
- 1½ - 2 oz white rum
- ½ fresh lime, cut into 8 wedges
- 2 - 3 teaspoons white granulated sugar
- Soda water
- Ice
If you can get your hands of a bottle of cachaça, use that instead of rum, since that'll give you the real Brazilian drink.
